I recently read some information on the museum’s website pertaining to an invention called an autofender (cowcatcher). The inventor, John O’Leary from Cohoes, NY was my great grandfather.
I hope someday to actually find a model of or an actual car fender that he patented.I do have a copy ot the patent for this invention that I would gladly share with you if you are interested. If you have any questions about John O’Leary please feel free to contact me.

I am trying to contact someone to get information on a clock that I own. There is one just like it in the museum.
Mantle clock.
Made by the Ansonio Clock Company, Brooklyn, NY, circa 1890.
Height: 17 inches. Brass, eight-day, spring-driven movement with strike.
