Having gone to college at Miami of Ohio and my son at KU, I have a deep affection and reverence for the region, its values, its work ethic, and its innovation - whether from glassware, pottery, baskets to household necessities (P&G) or the car manufacturing businesses. All of these have spawned so many other adjacent industries. And I love road trips. I am so hoping that I hear your stories on NPR and wishing you all the very best of trips with lots of learning as well laughter and shared experience. Also, America is changing right before our eyes. We all (as many of us who can afford to do it) should be taking road trips this spring and summer to document the great change and the great recession (as well as the great innovation)! I think, however, that if you don't bring at least one woman along it will be a huge missed opportunity. A group of men on road trip is cool but adding a woman's perspective when it comes to gleaning innovation is absolutely necessary (and I'm not just saying that because I'm a girl). Anyway, I think this should be a series of road trips with different entrepreneurial people in tech (and other fields). A movement my friends. I think you may have a movement.
