tweetup

After a long day of driving midway through iRoadTrip, we stopped at Molly Malone’s in Louisville, Kentucky for a tweetup organized by Todd Earwood.

The night was filled with fantastic conversation about how each person had been touched by innovation and what they saw coming down the pipe regarding technology, business and life.

Luckily we were able to corner Todd and Kevin Frey (partners in a neat venture, MoneyPath, that finds money for businesses).

Here are their interviews…

Colin, amended his first interview after he figured out that the real innovation in Kentucky was likely their BBQ and appetizer cooking style.

Enjoy!

Planes and Automobiles

by jeffcutler on March 9, 2009

Barring Colin and Jim’s turning into #iroadtrip hobos and boarding a train from Philly or Manchester or wherever they are as I write this, we should have the band back together this evening for an event at Pulse in Detroit.

This impending Tweet-up is being organized by @kenburbary and others and should prove to be a fantastic place to talk about how innovators in the Great Lakes region are driving commerce and keeping conversations alive via new media and true innovation.

I’ve posted a bunch of my own videos this morning – from the rain in Braintree to the plane in the air over NY, PA and VA – and you can find them here.

Later today I’ll be doing more video of the Ford Automotive Museum in Deerborn, Michigan. Please join me on Qik to ask questions of the curator and help the crew learn more about the history of the automobile.

’til later!
